We stopped in on a whim while walking around downtown looking for a good place to grab a drink and sit outside, happy we did!
I forget the name of the whisky cocktail I had but it was decently priced, tasted great and poured strong!
The food was awesome, chicken taco salad was packed to the brim with lettuce and toppings. The best part was fresh grilled chicken, grilled onion and peppers and homemade flour taco shell.
The crispy chicken sandwich and fries was juicy and full of flavor!!
Awesome place to grab drinks and dinner with the chance of never leaving before going out, right in the heart of greektown!
***RANCH REVIEW***
The most important question - how's the ranch?!
Thickness 5/10
This was a homemade chipotle ranch, slightly spicy, slightly tangy, 100% awesome!! Highly recommend for dipping fries with -

Pappy's is a great place in the heart of Greektown. We went here after a Lions game. It was crowded, but we found a seat. All of the tables face a TV, so this is a great place to watch sports.
Service was excellent and we quickly ordered some beers. They have an excellent selection of beers on draft or in bottles
We started with the saganaki and pita bread. This is a fun dish to order because the cheese gets lit table side and then is put out with a lemon. It tastes excellent--a great appetizer.
Next was the volcano skins without sour cream. These were also really good. They were fried and had some nice toppings on them.
The highlight was the crispy ribs and fries. The fries were just perfect, cooked just the way I liked them. The ribs were unusual in that they were fried after they were cooked--which gave them a nice crunch. They were covered with some nice, sweet barbecue sauce.
Pappy's is definitely worth a visit. -

We sat at the bar. Not busy at the bar and it took her over 15 minutes to ask our drink order. We finally got a menu but she never asked if we wanted food. In fact, she barely spoke to us. Onion rings were very good with a nice breading and not real greasy. We got buffalo wings which were very greasy and not crispy at all but a little chewy. Atmosphere was good too bad the rest isn't as good.

Awesome bar! We usually come in to Detroit for the Lions home opener from south Florida, and spend Saturday bar hopping. This place was great! Usually when a place is really busy the service quality is sacrificed, but not here...on a busy college football Saturday we got great service and had a lot of fun. Will definitely be back.
